Amadeu Antonio Foundation
Since its founding in 1998, the aim of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation has been to strengthen a democratic civil society that consistently opposes right-wing extremism, racism and anti-Semitism.
To this end, it supports initiatives and projects that are continuously committed to a democratic culture and to the protection of minorities. The foundation provides funding in a straightforward manner and distributes the money specifically where it is most urgently needed.
The most important task of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation, beyond financial support, is to raise awareness for committed people on the ground and to put the issue of right-wing extremism permanently on the agenda.

State Program Strengthening Democracy
Studies show that inhumane attitudes such as racism and xenophobia are shared in many parts of society in Germany. Baden-Württemberg is no exception. In order to decisively address this situation, the Baden-Württemberg state parliament commissioned a state program against right-wing extremist, racist and anti-Semitic violence in the 2015/2016 double budget. The State Center for Political Education has been developing this state program since the beginning of 2015 under the title "STRENGTHENING DEMOCRACY! Baden-Württemberg against misanthropy and right-wing extremism". The state program is intended to network and integrate existing activities against misanthropy and right-wing extremism and provide impetus in all areas of society.
